HistoryIn 2005, Enertec Products Inc. was established in partnership with one of Alberta’s leading oil and gas producers. We were challenged to develop plunger lift equipment that would satisfy the specific needs of their senior optimization technicians. Their current equipment was unable to provide satisfactory flow rates in marginal wells. With our extensive experience in the operation and development of artificial lift equipment, the prototype lubricator, plunger, and bottom hole spring was designed, constructed, and field-tested. After introducing our new equipment into the lowest producing wells, significant production increases were experienced, reviving previously uneconomical wells and capturing untapped energy. Today, hundreds of our plunger lift systems have been installed in the Northern Alberta region, and we have continued to work with our customers to provide customized innovative product solutions to maximize optimization and well efficiency.
